飞零 is the commitment of 航空公司 to achieve net zero carbon by 2050.
At the 77th 95299九五至尊 年度股东大会 in Boston, 美国, 2021年10月4日, a resolution was passed by 95299九五至尊 member 航空公司 committing them to achieving net-zero carbon emissions from their operations by 2050. This pledge brings air transport in line with the objectives of the Paris agreement to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

Current projections estimate that dem和 for air passenger journeys in 2050 could exceed 10 billion. The expected 2021-2050 carbon emissions on a ‘business as usual’ trajectory is approx 21.20亿吨二氧化碳. Mitigating that amount of carbon will be an enormous technological challenge.
Success will require the coordinated efforts of the entire industry (航空公司, 机场, 航空导航服务提供商, manufacturers) 和 significant government support.

How we plan to achieve Net Zero Carbon Emissions
The net-zero objective will be met through a combination of maximum elimination of emissions at source 和 the use of approved offsetting 和 carbon capture technologies.

65% usage of 可持续的航空燃料 (SAF), sourced from feedstocks that do not degrade the environment or compete with food or water
